Tutor: David Webb
Paint bold, loose paintings of harbour scenes in watercolour with David Webb. He will show you how to leave out unnecessary details and concentrate on the composition, and building your painting up in transparent washes, from dark to light.
David will also show you the value of working with a limited palette, and the importance of tonal values. There will be a variety of reference sources to work from, and help and advice on drawing boats and their reflections, and getting proportions right. There will be plenty of demonstrations and one-to-one help.
The day includes: tea, coffee, pastries, lunch and homemade cakes.
