Tutor: Carole Gray
This Taster Day will give you the opportunity to explore this traditional craft. Carole will teach you the traditional stained glass techniques and make a 20cm square panel to take home. This is a practical course and you learn the basic construction processes of cutting glass, putting a panel together with lead, soldering, cementing and finishing. No previous experience is needed. Carole will provide simple, non-representational, designs & packs of glass for you to choose from as well as all the other materials & tools needed to create your stained glass piece. If you are pregnant, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course as working with lead and solder can be harmful to the developing baby.
